Laminated glass continues to grow in demand and to prevent backlogs and production delays, Regency has invested in a 3rd Laminated cutting line. This latest machine is high speed with automated turning. This is a top of the range Bottero cutting machine and adds massive capacity to our production output.
New build regulations coupled with general security concerns, means laminated glass volume has risen over the last few years. Staying ahead of further production demands, this new addition will keep our lead times stable and enable us to meet our customer needs.
Customers often don’t realize that laminated glass cutting is much slower than annealed glass cutting – usually on a ratio of a around 10:1 – yes, 10 sheets of annealed glass cut to one sheet of laminated glass!
