Delivery of new glass and collection of cullet (off cut waste) to be recycled into new glass
Here at Regency, we receive at least 3 float liners per day of new float glass. This is processed into high performance double and triple glazed units for home owners throughout the UK.
Each delivery is rapidly unloaded into our factory. Reducing the carbon footprint, the same vehicle takes away our off cut waste known as cullet. This is then incorporated into the new glass products we receive daily.
Whilst being a vital component in the efficient production of new float glass, the ability to recycle prevents tonnes of waste going into landfill. We are also now recycling laminate glass off cuts that were once more difficult to reclaim.
