Regency Glass have completed the move to a new factory. Located nearby at West Bridgewater Street, the new building has undergone a complete refurbishment both internally and externally. The investment includes new machinery and will enable Regency to more than double production.
After reaching capacity at the previous Butts Street site, the search for a new home was found closer than expected. Being a well known building in Leigh, the former BICC manufacturing facility was an ideal size with a 100,000 square foot factory floor. Coupled with 3 over head crane infrastructure and ample power supply for future growth, the new site represented a fantastic base on which to build.
Refurbishment commenced in spring 2018 and was completed in late spring 2019. The new factory incorporates a new 2-storey staff complex with locker room, canteen and offices.
