Saint-Gobain on target with UK float plant rebuild

Saint-Gobain is on schedule with the 'cold' repair of its UK production facility. This £30m investment will bolster the UK market glass supply with increased volume and greater efficiency.
While the rebuild has necessitated a temporary halt in glass production as the old furnace is demolished and rebuilt, it's important to note that all glass is being imported from 'sister' plants across Europe. The good news is that the coating line and laminating line are fully operational, ensuring that production is currently maintaining good levels.
