Regency Glass bought a new Bottero 2.5m automatic seaming machine as part of our ongoing investment program.
This machine prepares the glass before entering the toughening process. Once cut, the edges of the glass are nicked and imperfect. This could cause breakage during tempering, as the glass expands during heating and contracts during cooling. The seaming machine smooths the edges by sanding to give a more consistent edge. This reduces the potential for breakage, thereby increasing efficiency and quality.
