Regency 2 is almost ready to go. The new Bystronic production line was commissioned in October as the final piece of the jigsaw for the new factory. In the foreground is the new automatic desiccant filler to speed the filling of spacer bars.
The new line is fully automatic and consists of glass washer, spacer bar alignment station, gas-filling press and sealing robot. The glass is air cushioned vertically, removing the potential for rollers to mark the glass.
