Bar coding

Regency Glass has recently introduced a new bar coding system throughout the factory. Bar Coding, when used properly as many advantages to Regency and the end user. With Bar Coding we can see exactly where your product is up to in production. Also we can create delivery batches that tell us if there is any shortages. This allows us to find the units that may be short. The way it works is for every unit produced we create a colour label in which we stick onto the unit. On each of these labels there will be a unique Bar Code for that unit. The label will get scanned at various points through production, enabling us to locate them quicker when needed.
